Driving Directions To Edinburgh Airport
Edinburgh airport is 7 miles west of the city, just off the A8 road towards Glasgow. From Edinburgh take the A8 past the Grogar roundabout and follow signs to the airport. From Glasgow take the M8 to Junction 2, then take the M9 north to Junction 1 (the Newbridge roundabout), then turn off onto the A8. Short and long term parking is available. Car hire is available from the airport.

From Edinburgh International Airport follow the A8 and the City Centre signs all the way eastbound towards Edinburgh City Centre.(approximately 6 miles.
Getting There By Rail
The nearest railway station is Edinburgh Waverley mainline. Waverley station is the main station in Edinburgh and trains run to and from Waverley from the rest of the UK. Buses run from Waverley Bridge (next to the train station) to the airport forecourt.
Edinburgh airport does not have its own train station, but the two main stations in Edinburgh are easily accessible as they are both on regular bus routes between them and the airport. Both Edinburgh Waverley and Edinburgh Haymarket stations operate services between Glasgow and other Scottish and English destinations, including a GNER stopping service to London King's Cross. Getting To edinburgh airport By Bus
Lothian Buses run Airlink services from Edinburgh Waverley Station to and from the airport.
There are several regular bus services between Edinburgh airport and the city centre. The bus stands can be found in the front of the terminal building outside the UK arrivals lounge.
The number 100 bus is a regular shuttle which runs between the airport and the city (close to the bus and train stations and the high street.) This service runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every ten minutes during peak hours and every half an hour off-peak.
A less frequent bus service operated by Lothian buses runs between the Ocean Terminal just outside the city centre, through the city and to the airport. This service runs from early morning until late at night; more details can be found on the Lothian buses website.
